How to set goals you can actually keep?

By Guest Author On February 19, 2010 Under Setting Goals

I always set goals and try to stick to them, but I never reach them! (No, I’m nawt lazy!!!!!!) I just need any better systems of setting goals and taking action with them! Thanks a ton!!!!!!

Write your goals down.
Put them into an envelope.
Date it 6 months later.

6 months later, open it. See how many came true!

When you write down your goals, and then wait, they come true. If you chase after you goals, trying to FORCE them to come true, they never come true. And goals never, ever, go by a calendar!

PS As you go through life, keep making more goals lists.

I wrote my goals down at age 13. I am 57 now and my list is 80% done.

start slow, your not going to accomplish the goal right away, make shorter goals till you eventually get to your main goal. keep your goal written on your hand or something so you dont forget about it. find some kind of inspiration
