Would you say high self-confidence is the key element to superior sports skills and athletic ability?

By Guest Author On March 7, 2011 Under Self Improvement

I’ve noticed the guys (and girls) who are the most athletically talented have really high self-confidence. A lot of athletes (both pro and amateur) say that believing you can do a certain movement is the most important in terms of doing it right. Alternatively, geeks and non-athletic people typically have low self-confidence in many aspects of life, including sports. Is it fair to say that developing high confidence and practicing frequently would make these individuals more athletic?

That has been true for many situations.
