Here are tips to help with teeth whitening because we know you do not want to have yellow, stained teeth forever.

When we talk about yellow teeth we very much think of smokers, still you do not have to be a smoker to get yellow teeth. ï»¿ Some wines, berries, and rich dark sauces in certain foods can stain teeth. If you brush or at least rinse your mouth after you eat or drink this can help.

Munching on crunchy food, such as carrots, apples, celery, and the like, after or during every meal or snacks. This method will help you clean your teeth and remove stains or food residues that stick to your teeth. If you want to retain teeth color, avoid tooth decaying food such as carbohydrates and sugar.

Using teeth whitening products help keep stains at bay. Sugarless whitening gums are also available for people who are always on the go. When trying to keep costs down try over-the-counter teeth whitening products, which can be bought at druggist and stores.

If you are a patient you should try whitening strips, teeth whitening strip products, which can be difficult to apply and put in place.Whitening strips might be the way to go if you are a patient person.  Two common complaints by users of teeth whitening strips are tooth sensitivity and gum irritation. Do not use them again if you experience these effects.

Giving up smoking will be great for your health and your teeth. Yellow teeth are not the only affliction developed by smokers but also wrinkles, loss of bone density, defective lungs, fertility and sexual health problems.

Just because you have the magic whitening done does not mean you stop taking care of your teeth, you still need to brush and floss twice a day and visit your tooth doctor for cleaning every six months.
