Overdoing Your Garments Kills Style

By Guest Author On January 9, 2011 Under Improve Your Life, Improve Your Self Esteem, Law of Attraction

Sometimes, people dress up more than the occasion would require them. For instance, instead of wearing a simple polo shirt for a social gathering, others would go for formal and business-looking dress shirts. This is totally fine, and it does not violate a certain rule in the fashion bible. In fact, it is a lot better to dress up than down. But when dressing up for someone means putting on too much jewelry, then this is another case  .  It’s okay to dress up, but the accessories and garments worn should be kept simple and limited to a certain theme or shade. If you hope to achieve a great look with the help of your fashion statement, then pattern your garments to a very important rule: Do not over do your attire.  .

For example when you wear heavy printed custom dress shirts or dresses, make sure you limit the number of accessories you wear. For men, a watch would be enough, while for the women, a pair of earrings and watch would already take that attractive look.

For other people, wearing more than three pieces of accessories with their mens dress shirts, suit and pants looks remarkable, and will give them a sophisticated appearance.  Nevertheless, on the other side of the coin, while people assume that wearing a lot of jewelry all over their body (like more than two pieces of bracelets, an earing on one ear, more than one long necklaces and a watch, among others) will make them look any richer than they really are, this is actually too much when fashion comes in the picture  .

Moreover, avoid wearing more than three garments at once, like for instance, if you are already wearing dress shirts with a necktie and a vest and a suit, do not put on a jacket on top of all these because it will make your fashion too much. Much more, do not put on a scarf, for goodness sake. Just stick with one major outfit with less than 3 pieces of accessories and supporting garments, and that’s it!
